Jeddah Corniche Circuit
Saudi Arabian Grand Prix
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is one of the fastest and most dramatic street circuits in Formula 1. Located along the Red Sea coastline in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the track made its debut on the Formula 1 calendar in 2021. Designed as a high-speed street circuit, it combines the close barriers and technical demands of a traditional street race with sweeping corners that allow drivers to maintain incredible speeds throughout the lap.
Stretching over six kilometers, the circuit is one of the longest on the F1 calendar and features a remarkable number of corners, many of them taken at high speed. The track flows through a series of rapid direction changes and blind bends that require immense confidence and precision from drivers. Despite its street circuit nature, the layout includes several overtaking opportunities, particularly along the long straights where DRS zones allow drivers to attempt bold passing moves.
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah has quickly established itself as a visually spectacular event, especially under the lights as the race takes place at night. With the glowing skyline of Jeddah and the Red Sea as a backdrop, the circuit provides a striking setting for Formula 1 action. Combined with its high-speed layout and unpredictable racing, the event has become one of the most exciting and unique stops on the Formula 1 calendar.
